Invitation

Dear Colleagues,

It is a great pleasure to invite you to the 21st meeting of the EMEP Task Force on Emission Inventories and Projections (TFEIP). The meeting will be held on 10th - 11th November 2008 in Milan, Italy and will be hosted by the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC), Ispra.

A scientific workshop on "Issue of scales in emission inventory: special needs for global, regional and local emission inventories" organised by the JRC will be held on the 12th November, following the TFEIP meeting.

The meetings is planned to take place at the FAST Conference Centre in the centre of Milan, in Piazzale Morandi 2. A dedicated web page for registering to the event will be made available during the next couple of weeks, where people can also register for hotel accommodation. Please check the TFEIP web site for the registration link after the 10th of October 2008.

Reimbursement: Limited financial assistance is available from the Norwegian Ministry of Environment to support the participation of experts from Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Republic of Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Tajikistan, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, the Russian Federation, Belarus and Ukraine. Countries interested in financial assistance are kindly asked to please complete the accompanying application form by 10th October 2008, following the instructions within.
